lola firmingham enters scene, sets overflowing basket of items on small counter. clerk stands at checkout counter. stares at lola. clerk picks at her nails.

clerk: we don't do that
lola: excuse me?
clerk: we don't take stuff out of baskets. you do it.
lola: uh, really?
clerk: WALKS AWAY

lola laughs, defeated... smooshes basket items onto small counter, dropping things. clerk returns. lola pays and exits
