- we found it difficult to physically move into the apt. none of the keys worked. it was inconvenient. breaking into our apartment required the assistance of a locksmith and a very special security lady.
- i was sad to find a lack of hot water and a really complicated water heater system in the closet. the hot water issue is now resolved, but not without a weird alarm going off and a general fear that the apt was going to blow up.
- today i plan to explore the city. so far, philly has not been a disappointment for people watching. this city has oodles and oodles of crazies milling around. i'm not sure how philly has accomplished this, but it has maintained its sense of history while expanding its impoverished crazy population. coincidence? i think not.
